Today we celebrated the Tamil New Year (Virodhi) with a cultural program and special dinner. The cultural program was organized by me and the special dinner was a pot-luck. Dr. Swmay and Mrs. Karpagam have been spearheading the function and this year we celebrated the 10th year.

Dr. Swamy gave the welcome address and Mrs Karpagam presented the history of the function while I projected a slide show presentation. During the cultural program our group staged a play called "Good Friends, Good Results". About 6 kids and 6 adults participated by singing, and dancing.

I also gave a slide presentation about Tamil and Unicode. The program then ended with pot-luck dinner.
